Despite Elinor's desire to see Merida as a proper royal lady, Merida is an impetuous girl who wants to take control of her own destiny. Queen Elinor's expectations of her daughter cause Merida to see Elinor as being distant while also causing friction between the two. If not already being utilized in the A slot, the Heavy Blade Sacred Seal can be run in order to accelerate Veronica’s Special cooldown.Merida is the headstrong and free-spirited 16-year old tomboyish, willful daughter of Queen Elinor, who rules the kingdom alongside her husband, King Fergus.Any Player Phase boost to Veronica’s key stats such as Death Blow and Sturdy Blow are great Sacred Seal options.Sacred Seal: Death Blow / Sturdy Blow / Heavy Blade The C slot can otherwise be replaced as needed to suit the team.
Pulse Smoke resets the cooldown of a foe’s Special after combat, making it an effective tool in stopping Galeforce strategies. Panic Smoke punishes foes for using in combat buffs against Veronica and the rest of her team by inflicting Panic on the target as well as any nearby allies.
Panic Smoke and Pulse Smoke make for particularly effective C slot options on an AR D team. Passive C: Panic Smoke / Pulse Smoke / Flexible This also applies to units choking points in Resonant Battles. Swapping her and the foe’s position allows Veronica to run through a unit in the way of a choke point and separate that unit from their support, making it a strong option for Aether Raids defense. This is especially effective when running Veronica alongside other Galeforce units in order to take out as many opponents in one turn as possible. Wings is Mercy is extremely useful for moving around the map, as it allows you to move adjacent to any ally under 50% HP. Lull Atk/Def is a very strong B slot option that not only neutralizes the foe’s bonuses in those given stats but also inflicts an additional -3 in combat to each. Passive B: Lull Atk/Def / Wings of Mercy / Lunge In addition to accelerating Veronica’s Special cooldown, it also grants a boost of up to 5 true damage per hit depending on how much Attack she has over her opponent. Heavy Blade 4 can be a strong choice when running Galeforce. 
Veronica’s native Atk/Def Solo 4 grants Veronica a significant boost to her key stats in Attack and Defense with a condition that synergizes with her personal weapon. Passive A: Atk/Def Solo 4 / Heavy Blade 4 As a purely damage-dealing alternative, one can choose to run damage-dealing Specials such as Luna or Ignis. Veronica’s weapon naturally pairs well with Galeforce. With her primary role being that of an offensive unit and having a weapon that guarantees follow-up attacks, Attack is the key stat that Veronica appreciates an asset in.
